Advantages

Unlike standard carbon steel replacement parts for camshafts prone to premature wear, the camshaft gear assembly uses stainless steel. This material choice directly addresses the deformation problem caused by high temperatures in air-cooled engines. The 100% elongation allows it to withstand rapid RPM fluctuations in a single-cylinder engine without stress cracking on the gear teeth.

The connecting rod bore is precision-machined to eliminate shaft "backlash." In CG engines, even a 0.5mm deviation in the camshaft housing can lead to high-speed noise (ticking) and unstable compression.
